Information

Good to know for best patterns.
In order to get the optimal pattern build-up, there are a number of parameters to be considered.
The indoor temperature has its share.
The location also has an impact, when you choose where you want to place your candle, keep in mind to avoid drafts as this can create uneven burning of the candle.
Placing the light in a candle lantern can be tempting. The problem here is that it can get too hot and the pattern formation is therefore affected.
If you want to use a candle lantern, you should think about the size so there is plenty of room to reduce heat generation and preferably use a lantern that lets air in at the bottom.
Candles have a tendency to drip, therefore it is important that you have the candle standing on a plate, tray or similar.
As always when lighting candles, be sure to supervise the candle and make sure there is nothing flammable within reach of the candle's flames.
